| The Bed and Breakfast is located in S. Benedetto dei Marsi,
a small town in the heart of Marsica Region.
This place is in the middle of the parks system. Among the most interesting places,
we can mention the Abruzzo National Park and Sirente-Velino Regional Park,
Velino Mountain and Zompo lo Schioppo Protected Area.
Pope Bonifacio IV was from S. Benedetto dei Marsi, when the city called Marruvium.
It was the capital city of the ancient Marsi’s people.
Also Virgilio speaks about it in the seventh book of his own work.
Few minutes to get Ovindoli (well-known Abruzzo skiing resort)
and about half hour to get Pescasseroli
(famous touristic place of Abruzzo National Park).

car: highway A25 (Roma-Pescara),
Pescina tollhouse exit, following direction to S. Benedetto dei Marsi,
only 5 km to arrive at bed and breakfast.
By Train: Roma-Pescara railway line, get off to Avezzano station and
go to bus terminal (behind the station) to take the bus in direction of Lecce nei Marsi,
stop to S. Benedetto dei Marsi.
